My love for animals has only grown deeper over the years, fueling my passion to dedicate myself fully to this industry. Over the past decade, I’ve gained invaluable experience across various roles, beginning with my first job at a doggie daycare. From there, I expanded my expertise in pet boarding, dog training, and even ventured into veterinary medicine. In 2022, I took the leap and founded Tails of the West LLC to bring all my knowledge and passion for pet care into one dedicated service. Every step of my journey has been a building block toward offering the best care for pets and peace of mind for their owners.

I am deeply passionate about pet care! Over the past 9 years, I've dedicated myself to working with animals, with 4 years specifically focused on pet sitting—an experience I wouldn't trade for anything else. My journey in animal care has taken me through a variety of settings, including boarding, daycare, grooming, and veterinary medicine.

As a vet tech with extensive experience, I've had the privilege of working in both general practice and emergency veterinary medicine for 6 years. This hands-on experience has provided me with invaluable skills and knowledge that I apply to ensure the well-being of pets in any situation.

From puppies to seniors, from small to large breeds, and even exotics, I've had the privilege of caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments.

    Jessica is AMAZING! Our 2 Chihuahuas take a long time to warm up to humans but they already love, love, love Aunt Jessica! This is the first extended trip my husband and I've been able to go on in a very long time so we were very concerned about leaving our Kids (Pups) at home with a new pet sitter. But the vacation was so stress free because Jessica sent multiple updates and many photos to keep us connected. Thank You Jessica!

    So lucky to have found Tails of the West! Been using their services for a couple of years. I have an older Boston with heart issues and am very particular about who watches him. Jessica is a gem. She plays and cuddles with him - and gives him treats (which he loves). I know he will be taken care of which is such a relief. I always look forward to the thorough updates and many cute pics she takes of my little guy. Thank you!

    Jessica with Tails of the West is the absolute best. First of all, she came highly recommended from my vet who actually trusts her own fur babies with Tails of the West rather than any daycare or boarding. Secondly, Jessica is wonderful with my pup, Wellington. She is reliable and goes beyond just a walk. She will play with Welly and sometimes goes on hikes and other adventures with him. I always get a detailed report of their time together complete with photos that get professionals a run for their money! It honestly feels like when I go on vacation, Welly does too. I can’t recommend Tails of the West more - the absolute best!
